We’re looking for a Senior POM Strategic Planner to join our Micron Global Supply Chain organization!
You will be responsible for direct planning and manufacturing execution support of new products from an early plan phase through the production ramp. You will partner with stakeholders and organizations across a global enterprise that include but are not limited to Supply Chain Operations Leads, Procurement, and various Manufacturing and Product Engineering teams. Your primary goals are to align these teams to an NPI production plan via enterprise planning systems while closely monitoring the timely execution of internal and external customer sampling requirements.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to validate NPI demand.
  • Ensure specific requirements are understood and detailed.
  • Monitor and validate master data completeness and accuracy (parts and BOMs).
  • Validate information required to generate an accurate supply response, including yields, cycle time, site loading, capacity boundary conditions, etc.
  • Ensure a good build signal is received by manufacturing for capacity and materials planning.
  • Employ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions to produce a weekly build plan that meets the business need.
  • Confirm manufacturing teams reserve capacity and purchase direct materials to support NPI needs.
  • Bring awareness of supply shortages and capacity constraints to appropriate partners. Resolve supply gaps where possible.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field of study, or equivalent experience.
  • Masters in Supply Chain, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in an operations-related role, such as planning, forecasting, manufacturing, logistics, procurement, or related experience is preferred.
