ROLE PURPOSE
As a Senior Manager IoT Delivery Manager at Vodafone IoT, you will lead and oversee the implementation and delivery of IoT (Internet of Things) projects. Your role involves managing project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of solutions, and driving the strategic direction of IoT initiatives. This role is a key component of our IT transformation strategy, and we are looking for candidates with extensive IT transformation experience who can work out of our Paddington or Newbury locations.
The Senior Manager IoT Delivery Manager at Vodafone IoT plays a crucial role in driving the success of IoT projects, ensuring they meet client expectations and organizational goals. This position requires a combination of strong technical knowledge, exceptional project management skills, and strategic vision to lead IoT initiatives effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Project Management: Lead and manage multiple IoT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- IT Transformation: Drive IT transformation initiatives within the organization, leveraging IoT technologies to enhance business processes and outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and guide project teams, including developers, engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders involved in IoT projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to define project requirements, expectations, and deliverables.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for IoT initiatives, aligning them with the organization’s overall goals and objectives.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that IoT solutions meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations and best practices.
- Budget Management: Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and adherence to financial constraints.
- Reporting: Provide regular status updates, reports, and presentations to senior management and stakeholders on project progress and performance.
- Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in IoT technologies, and drive innovation within the team to enhance project delivery.
