• Responsible for Design for manufacture and assembly for responsible systems.
• Own the exterior systems and attribute delivery.
• Responsible for upholding the highest standards of geometry creation and GD&T.
• Report to Lead Engineers responsible for the relevant commodities.
• Prepares full project documents.
• Develops new techniques and/or improved processes, materials or products.
• Engineering responsibility (including design and release) of full exterior systems, including some but not all of: Bumpers, Exterior Trim, Body Panels, Accessories, Mirrors, Glazing, Washer and Wiper Systems
• Ensuring responsible designs meet legal compliance.Identify and highlight any areas for continuous improvement.
