Job Description
Job Summary: The Senior Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and completion of around 20 km subsea cable installation project from the shore to an Island. This role involves overseeing the project from inception through to delivery, ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Senior Project Manager will coordinate with multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to manage risks, resolve issues, and ensure successful project outcomes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects, with a focus on subsea cable installations.
- Strong knowledge of subsea cable installation techniques, equipment, and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage the project team, including subcontractors, to deliver project objectives.
- Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. Ensure that resources are allocated efficiently and that project milestones are achieved.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Address their concerns and provide regular progress reports.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on the project.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project work complies with relevant industry standards, regulations, and client requirements.
- Budget Control: Monitor project expenses and ensure that the project stays within budget. Approve invoices and manage financial reporting.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the project adheres to all relevant environmental and safety regulations.
- Contract Management: Oversee contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring that all parties fulfill their obligations.
