ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our quality assurance efforts and ensure the delivery of exceptional software products. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in manual testing, defect management, and root cause analysis, combined with a strong expertise in API and web services testing, as well as relational and non-relational database testing. The Senior Sr. QA Engineer will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest quality standards, contributing to the creation of test plans and test cases, and fostering effective communication across teams.
A DAY IN THIS ROLE
- Lead and perform thorough manual testing of software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and functional requirements.
- Effectively manage defects by identifying, documenting, tracking, and verifying issues, and working closely with development teams for timely resolution.
- Conduct detailed root cause analysis on defects and issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Demonstrate proficiency in testing APIs and web services, ensuring their functionality, integration, and performance meet established criteria.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of relational (SQL) to assess data integrity, accuracy, and system performance.
- Collaborate with development, product management, and QA teams to create comprehensive test plans and test cases that cover various scenarios and use cases.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills to convey testing results, status updates, and potential risks to relevant stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software quality assurance.
