Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The Global Talent Lab is a new research centre focused on the global market for talent and ideas and dedicated to identifying and supporting top talent from all around the world. The Lab is housed at the University of Bristol School of Economics and is co-directed by Patrick Gaule and Ruchir Agarwal. As a Senior Research Associate, you will -working closely with the co-directors- contribute to the lab’s research activities and take a leading role in developing and managing the lab.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Develop and manage relationships with stakeholders in the global talent community and among universities
  • Develop a database of scholarships and educational opportunities for global talent
  • Contribute to conceptualizing policy options for governments, universities, philanthropists, and civil society
  • Lead a qualitative research project seeking to understand barriers faced by talented individuals
  • Communicate lab activities to the general public
