Description:
About Tripstack
We are travel tech entrepreneurs, changing the way millions of people travel.
Our proprietary virtual interlining technology provides access to billions of travel itineraries by combining flights from different airline carriers that don’t traditionally work together. We take our customers from point A to B via C, including land transportation, at the lowest possible price. We are impacting the way people travel and provide higher margin opportunities to our partners that are some of the largest in the travel industry.
We pride ourselves on the performance-driven environment we have created for our teams to prosper and excel in. We come to work ready, to challenge and be challenged. We’re big enough to give our teams support but small enough that every person makes a difference. There are plenty of challenges to champion.
The Role
As a Senior member of the Site Reliability Engineering Team working closely with Software Engineers, you will be helping them to deploy and operate various production systems and processes. As our SRE, you will be in charge of ensuring the highest levels of stability, uptime, security, maintainability, scalability and performance of our production systems.
We run a hybrid environment, consisting of both cloud and datacentre-based infrastructure. SRE team members deal with both cloud and on-prem, yet this role requires more focus and skillset on the datacentre-based environments.
In addition, you will be developing new features and writing scripts and programs for automation using Golang and Python. There’s no hard and fast rule as to which of these languages to use, other than just use the best tool for the job. We expect you to take ownership and to start implementing solutions and solving problems right away. We will expect you to contribute ideas to improve our architecture and our processes in addition to writing code.
