This position will be located in our new Denver, CO location.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, with at least 10 years of work related experience
- Proficient with multiple languages and development tools especially C/C++ and Python
- Demonstrated proficiency with networking protocol
- 10+ years of experience with LINUX
- Passionate about fostering good engineering practices and processes.
- Willingness to learn new technology and approaches.
- Solid understanding of testing principles and high-quality software.
- Demonstrated design skills for large scale, high speed and highly available distributed systems
- Excellent communication and analytical skills with an eye for detail and thoroughness
- Experience with SVN or other version control tools such as GIT
- May need to obtain and maintain a security clearance for this position
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Familiar with real-time embedded systems
- Prior experience with Virtual Machines, Docker Containers, Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud infrastructure service providers such as AWS and Azure
- Prior work with oscilloscopes and other lab equipment is a plus
- Familiar with telemetry and satellite communications

- Enhance SOFTLINK® (our foundational software architecture) with an eye on scaling the architecture well into the future
- Design, scope, and implement technical solutions that scale across AMERGINT products and customer sets
- Communicate and collaborate across the engineering team and product owners
- Evaluate and recommend solutions and guide team decision-making
- Help to define and prioritize projects that help us meet business objectives
- Provide compassionate technical leadership, mentorship, pairing opportunities, and code reviews to encourage the growth of others
