EXPERIENCE:

• Software design process from development of brief through to final validation
• Demonstrate experience of software design in the Test & Measurement industry
• LabVIEW & TestStand experience (CLAD minimum desirable)
• PXI, Compact RIO, PC, PFGA
• Experience of software design in the Test & Measurement industry

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Formal qualification in engineering design (degree or equivalent)
• Successfully meet the formal Security Check (SC) criteria

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop software for a variety of test equipment solutions
• Design, write and document code that is reliable and efficient
• Develop drivers, software modules and test sequences
• Documentation
• Undertake integration and validation

OTHER DUTIES:

• Design software applications and implement any necessary changes
• Working with customers on specific projects and their software, testing & user interface requirements
• Carry out acceptance testing (factory and on-site)
• Translate system specification into software module specification
