We are looking for a Senior Strategy Analyst to join our small but growing Corporate Strategy team, taking responsibility for strategic planning and innovation.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and own, including the continuous improvement, of corporate strategy’s market and competitive intelligence on a global scale
  • Interpreting technical information and share insights and understanding
  • To support strategic business planning activities were required
  • Be prepared to take on ad hoc project work from time to time in addition to normal activities which includes deadline-driven and quick-turnaround analysis
  • Be prepared to expand own knowledge and expertise as required, such new markets and industry verticals, to support and enable strategic decision making

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2:1 undergraduate degree, major in business, finance or economics (or equivalent) is an advantage
  • 5 years’ experience working within a research house/market analyst role preferably with knowledge of the industrial software market and AVEVA’s vertical markets
  • Excellent level of English with the ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral, with a wide range of people from internal senior managers and colleagues to external contacts (e.g. industry analysts)
  • Accomplished in packaging information in a meaningful format for senior executives
  • Outstanding skills in PowerPoint and data presentation
  • Very strong analytical background and numerical ability
  • Good attention to detail
  • Be willing to undertake in-depth research in new areas
  • Be a strategic thinker and take an analytical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent IT tool skills especially Microsoft excel, Power BI
  • Willing to become an expert in new tools
