SENIOR TAX ANALYST

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Business or Finance.
- 3-4 years experience handling tax and customs matters in a multinational tax environment.
- Knowledge of regional Tax concepts, basic accounting principles.
- High performer in process optimization especially on cross functional activities.
- Strong influencing and collaboration skills.
- SAP knowledge as an asset.
- Fluent level of written and spoken English and Dutch (preferred).
Responsibilities:
- Execute best in class/efficient operational Tax processes for Tax reporting, Tax provision, transfer pricing, indirect and direct tax compliance. Focus on the following areas: IPR and Customs Duty Drawback, Licensing warehousing (excise and customs), Import/export processes, US GAAP tax accounting, Statutory tax accounting, Income tax return preparation and filing Income tax payments.
- Ensure and execute timely and accurate filing of all tax filings obligations in the local market. Ensure timely payment and/or refund of all tax obligations.
- Manage relation with other functional teams in Operations, Legal, Finance and External Affairs and with external stakeholders such as external advisors, external auditors and with the local Tax Authorities.
- Make proposals within own area of responsibility, take decisions according to the above accountabilities, represent the department/unit at the request of the Supervisor, participate in meetings as decided by the Supervisor, receive information necessary to perform own accountabilities.
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement with regard to the Tax Operation function for the local market.
- Build and be part of a strong team of tax experts and strong cross-functional relationships in the local market across the business. Help the company understand how all the pieces fit together.
- Be up to date with relevant legislation to manage effectively the local market tax positions, tax audits, tax litigation and communication with Fiscal Authorities.
- Advisory and trainings provided to respective teams in the organization in the tax area to assure proper tax risk mitigation
