REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or equivalent field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional, relevant working experience in (i) commercial, corporate, or investment banking OR (ii) internal finance, treasury, or accounting role with a mature corporation
  • In-depth understanding of financial statements, accounting, and credit risk. Formal credit training is preferred.
  • Possesses a working knowledge of corporate credit risk, foreign exchange, and rates markets, and the various liquidity structures available to corporations
  • Innately operates with a sense of urgency and is responsive, energetic, driven, and highly motivated
  • Ability to synthesize large data sets and draw concise and succinct conclusions, and present those findings to senior audiences with confidence and conviction
  • Highly adaptable with the ability to work well under pressure in a very dynamic environment; effectively multitasks and prioritizes
  • Team player with best-in-class written and oral communication skills
  • Ability and comfort to read, write, and speak English at an advanced level

    What is the role?

The Treasury team at ICEYE is part of the broader Finance organization, ultimately reporting to ICEYE’s CFO. The team is primarily responsible for:

  • Managing the company’s cash across entities and currencies
  • Decreasing the company’s weighted average cost of capital (“WACC”) by raising equity-alternative financings
  • Maintaining existing and prospective commercial and corporate banking relationships
  • Supporting contracts through the origination of risk mitigation instruments, i.e. performance guarantees or bespoke insurance policies

The Treasury Manager will report to the Global Head of Treasury and will be responsible for supporting treasury-related growth initiatives. You will have the unique opportunity to play a lead role in building the foundation of ICEYE’s treasury function from the ground up and initial responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing ICEYE’s global liquidity to ensure funding is available, when needed, and in the right currency
  • Researching, selecting, implementing, and managing a global credit card program for ICEYE
  • Regularly issuing performance Letters of Credit and bank guarantees to support new and existing customer contracts and other business initiatives, i.e. subsidiary expansion
  • Support the Global Head of Treasury with the origination and execution of debt in the institutional and bank debt markets
  • Liaise with ICEYE’s relationship banking partners globally and provide documentation as needed to support initiatives and adhere to Know-Your-Customer (“KYC”) and Anti-Money Laundering ("AML”) protocols
  • Partner with other Finance teams – for example Controllership and Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) – on ad hoc projects at the direction of the CFO or Global Head of Treasury
