    Our client, a large real estate agency, are currently looking for a Senior Commercial Trust Accounts Officer. Working in a small team of experienced Trust Accountants, you will cover a commercial portfolio in the provision of accurate management and recording of transactions associated with the various buildings, owners and tenants.

Key responsibilities would include:

  • Invoice preparation and adjustments
  • Setting up new properties or tenants on the in-house database
  • Accounts payable functions
  • End of month processing (on rotation with other team members)
  • Correspondence associated with the smooth operations of the various Trust Accounts as required by The Act
  • Reconciliation reports
  • Production of various trust accounting reports
  • Annual input of budgets, variable outgoings recoveries
  • Assistance in annual Variable Outgoings reconciliation

To apply you must have:

  • Previous experience in Trust Accounting in commercial and/or residential property
  • A high level of attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience in all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Working knowledge of Trust Accounting computer packages such as MRI/Strata Master highly desirable
