Description:
We are looking to recruit an experienced Service Supervisor to work within the Leinster region. The role is based in our Kildare offices and the successful candidate will be responsible for the supervision of all maintenance, fault finding and installation of various types of equipment within the water and wastewater treatment industry.
SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES;
- Experience within the water or wastewater treatment industry is desirable
- Senior Trades in Electrical/Mechanical or Engineering Degree.
- Experience with pump and treatment system installations, including pipe work, containment etc
- Knowledge of pumping systems, control systems and associated installations
- Fault finding and rectification within a timely fashion
- Knowledge of chemical dosing equipment (Pumps & analytical controllers)
Working knowledge of water and waste water treatment processes
Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to complete daily reports and H&S paperwork as required
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Full clean driving licence
- Safepass
- Confined space training desirable
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of an existing service team reporting to the service manager for the Leinster Region
- The role involves working on new and existing water and wastewater pumping and treatment installations together with associated controls
- Work will vary from service and repair call outs to planning repairs and installations
- Day to day management of existing service contracts and further development of same
- Provide supervision on larger projects to ensure all work is carried out in a safe an efficient manner.
- Provide administrative support to the service team, ensuring each technician has the appropriate training, equipment and documentation for each task
- Attend site meetings, determine customer requirements and provide quotations for all intended work
