Position overview
We are looking for a Techno-Functional SAP Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Techno-Functional SAP Consultant, you would be responsible for understanding the FICO/FICA functional data model, engaging with senior IT leaders to build new SAP landscapes, and applying your experience across multiple SAP project lifecycles. You’d be part of a global team that focuses on SAP System Landscape Optimization (SLO) projects, often supporting Merger & Acquisition (M&A) activities for our clients, in a multinational software company.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for working with our PMO for the delivery of projects from start to close –
- sometimes as the sole consultant, sometimes in a team
- Working in a customer-facing environment with clients in multiple industries and in multiple
- locations (though our work is at this time primarily remote travel is still required ad hoc)
- Software implementation projects
- Data Privacy projects
- SAP SLO transformation projects (carve-outs, CC mergers, etc.)
- SAP migration to Cloud and new Versions (including S/4HANA, ECP, BW/4HANA & more)
- Responsible for delivery of documentation to our PMO team as well as for technical delivery
- Upon request, attending user groups or SAP events in the appropriate region when requested;
- promoting EPI-USE Labs
- Building relationships with colleagues in a positive manner
- Expected 10-20% travel to customers currently, although this may increase or decrease.
- Travel might result in being away from home Monday-Friday for periods of time
Qualification required
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Information Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience and skills required
- Minimum of five years of SAP experience: Proven expertise in SAP, with a solid track record of at least five years in SAP roles.
- SAP FICO/FICAPM experience: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP FICO/FICAPM modules.
- Data migration and transformation projects: Experience working on data migration and/or transformation projects, such as carve-outs.
- Self-sufficiency and discipline: Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
- Outgoing personality: Enjoys engaging with diverse businesses and people, and thrives in dynamic environments.
- Willingness to travel: Comfortable with travel as required, even though travel requirements have significantly reduced in recent years.
- Flexibility and growth mindset: Open to flexibility in work arrangements and eager to take advantage of growth opportunities within the company.
The following would be an advantage:
- English + one other language
- Experience of SAP FI in both ECC and S/4HANA
- Experience working with multi-ECC landscapes that have FICO & FICA, ideally also with
- Treasury experience
- ABAP debugging or writing experience for at least simple reporting
- Adaptability and creativity
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Attention to details.
Position
- Full-time permanent position
- The role will be a permanent role employed through in Mexico (Mexico City – TBC), Portugal (Porto) and The Philippines (Manila).
- Hybrid or Remote working.
- The role will include some travel for internal and external meetings.
