BACK OFFICE ANALYST

The ideal candidate will come from a bank, clearing house, or commodities trading firm and have a strong understanding of post-trade processes and operational risk management.

Responsibilities:

  • Trade Capture & Reconciliation: Ensure timely and accurate trade entry into internal systems and reconcile discrepancies between front-office trading systems, exchanges, and counterparties.
  • Settlements & Confirmations: Manage the full trade settlement lifecycle, ensuring correct documentation and resolving discrepancies with counterparties.
  • Risk & Compliance Support: Identify and escalate any trade breaks, discrepancies, or settlement risks while working closely with compliance and risk teams.
  • Operational Efficiency: Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance workflow efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with traders, risk management, finance, and external counterparties to ensure smooth trade lifecycle management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years in a back-office operations role within a bank, clearing house, or commodities trading firm .
  • Strong understanding of settlements, trade reconciliation, and trade capture processes.
  • Familiarity with trading systems, exchanges, and post-trade operations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Strong communication skills for working with internal and external stakeholders.
