GardaWorld is currently looking for a Smart Security Technician for our Security System Division to join our team across Western Canada!
In this role, you will be representing Liberty, our products, and services to prospective Residential Customers. You will be responsible for providing expert residential Smart Security installations for customers and ensuring the customer’s needs are met in a timely and effective manner. Smart Security Technicians will use communication, technical knowledge and problem solving to deliver the highest level of customer experience.

What you will do as a Smart Security Technician :

  • Installation of Smart Security Systems. You understand how to do wire runs to ensure a clean panel install. Knowledge of wireless devices, their benefits as well as limitations to ensure customers are getting the right devices for their home. Understanding of Liberty’s Quality standards and installing to those standards;
  • Customer relations. You understand how to communicate with customers in a professional manner. Ability to train customers on how their system works ensuring that they have a clear understanding of all features. Answer customer questions with patience and professionalism;
  • Managing Personal Inventory. You keep track of your personal equipment inventory and order equipment as necessary to ensure that you are prepared for installations. Weekly personal equipment inventory counts to keep track of rolling inventory variances;
  • Problem Solving. You have the ability to troubleshoot situations as they arise. Read instruction manuals when facing something new, call technical support and contact proper channels for help if needed.

What we are looking for :

  • Self-motivated, strong interpersonal skills and entrepreneurial spirit;
  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Clean Criminal Record;
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record;
  • Must own a vehicle;
  • Technical Experience is a plus;
  • Sales experience is a plus.

Working conditions: Frequent travel required. Weekend or evening work is expected.
