We’re excited to open the opportunity for a Social Media Executive to join our team, responsible for creating, publishing and measuring high-quality visual assets across Carr Golf group channels.
The ideal candidate has a passion for golf, for creating engaging content and a talent for capturing stunning visuals. Whilst based at Carr Golf HQ in Dublin, the role will require travel to capture content on behalf of brands across the group. An excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being on the go, exploring new locations, and meeting new people.
REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive knowledge of content creation and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in editing software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficiency in distribution software, particularly HubSpot.
- Knowledge of the best content practices for various digital and social media platforms.
- A keen eye for design, with an understanding of visual aesthetics and composition.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field, e.g. communications, digital marketing or journalism.
- An keen golfer is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all group company social media accounts.
- Create engaging, creative content, ensuring that it is accurate, well-researched, delivers the required story whilst adhering to brand guidelines.
- Work with marketing team colleagues to develop social media schedules aligned with commercial priorities, new product releases, ad campaigns, or other brand messages.
- Ensure a activity is delivered to plan across relevant social channels.
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues to ensure content aligns with brand messaging.
- Seek feedback and incorporate suggestions to improve quality and effectiveness.
- Travel to various locations as needed to capture footage to a prescribed shoot plan.
- Film and edit video content optimised for each platform and campaign objective.
- Upload stories, videos, and other multimedia content across various online platforms.
- Schedule posts across multiple channels, ensuring consistent, accurate messaging.
- Manage deadlines and priorities to meet content production schedules.
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues to track performance of content campaigns, providing monthly reports on key metrics, such as engagement and conversion rates,
- Audit and analyse channel performance to help maximise return on investment.
- Monitor and develop reports on competitor activity within social media space.
- Contribute to the development of a business unit brand voice and content strategy.
- Collaborate with agencies to optimise content, on brief, on time and on budget.
