Vision & Research
Work closely with the leadership team to create a Product Roadmap that’s technically and practically achievable, aligned with the company vision; meets the current and future needs of our customers.
Help define the scope of the products that are needed to implement the Roadmap.
Identify new technologies that may benefit the Product Roadmap.
Research each new technology to determine whether it will shorten the release cycle, add new features or add substantial benefits to users.
Design & Development
Design all new features so that they are efficient, robust and reliable, as well as fast and intuitive to use.
Develop and code new features within the product-set.
Write code at a high level of proficiency, so that it conforms to best practice software development principles and standards.
Document all code in a professional and efficient manner.
Testing, Implementation & Support
Perform testing for all new features as required.
Make sure that the products released live are of a consistently high standard, free of critical errors and with very few low priority errors encountered.
Only release each new product edition when a high level of confidence is reached, that the product contains very few bugs or errors.
Perform live product releases and offer 2 nd and 3 rd level support to customers.
Investigate problems reported by customers, identify fixes and create patch releases as appropriate.
Communicate with the leadership team on a regular basis informing them of progress, challenges, issues and risks. Complete regular status reports and update tickets and time against estimates .
Identify and raise ideas for improving the product-set and business.
Help manage and implement the infrastructure and ensure redundancies are implemented in all areas.
Produce deliverables in accordance with the agreed priorities and timescales.
Any other suitable responsibilities, as assigned.


Self-motivated, self-managing and self-sufficient.
Can manage own time efficiently, keeping on-track and working on features in accordance with the agreed priorities.
High level of proficiency in all technologies related to the Microsoft .net environment (including SQL server, React, and some exposure to functional programing)
Experience operating a Dev Ops environment, ideally for a Software as a Service platform.


5 years senior development experience. University Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Technology. Experience managing software products throughout all phases of the software development life cycle. Previous experience in implementing and maintaining server infrastructure.


As this role is based initially at home, you need to ensure that you have a suitable home working environment. This includes making a workspace available that meets occupational health and safety standards. You may be required to work from a Commercial Office at some point in the future.
You are required to work 40 hours per week. Although the working hours are flexible, we ask that you work in large blocks of time during the day, so that the quality of your work is not affected. We reserve the right to ask you to work normal daily business hours (8am until 6pm Monday to Friday) if required to do so in the future.
You will work with a team and report to a manager, who will align your work priorities and timescales .
