WHO WE NEED

Truveta is rapidly building a talented and diverse team to tackle complex health and technical challenges. We are seeking a Software Engineer with a strong interest in Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for early-career engineers who are eager to build scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native systems. You will work closely with senior engineers to design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure solutions, primarily on Microsoft Azure, while gaining hands-on experience with modern DevOps practices, automation, and observability tools.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP also considered).
  • Basic knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code).
  • Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, or container orchestration technologies.
  • Understanding of networking, security concepts, and system administration fundamentals.
  • Interest in data pipelines and distributed systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Hands-on experience with Azure services (AKS, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Knowledge of tools such as Terraform, or Helm for infrastructure automation.
  • Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry).
  • Experience in cloud security.
  • Scripting or programming skills in Python, Go, or similar languages.

Responsibilities
  • Support the design, deployment, and management of cloud infrastructure on Azure.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, security and other engineers.
  • Innovate using strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly in the cloud infrastructure domain.
