SOUS CHEF / CHEF DE PARTIE – ITALIAN CUISINE

Malavenda Café, a restaurant in London known for its authentic Italian cuisine, is looking for a Sous Chef or Chef de Partie with strong experience in Italian cooking to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Executive Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen and team management.
  • Prepare and present authentic Italian dishes to a high standard.
  • Manage assigned sections of the kitchen (pasta, mains, starters, or desserts).
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and safety standards (HACCP).
  • Contribute to menu development and creation of seasonal dishes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as Sous Chef or Chef de Partie, ideally in high-quality Italian restaurants.
  • Excellent knowledge of Italian recipes, techniques, and ingredients.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation.
