REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of kitchen experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role
  • Strong technical skills and a solid grasp of kitchen workflow
  • Calm, clear communicator with a problem-solving mindset
  • Passionate about local ingredients and creative, seasonal cooking
  • Food Handler or ServSafe certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Ready to lead by example and support a healthy kitchen culture

THE ROLE

As Sous Chef, you’ll be the Executive Chef’s right hand. You’ll help lead a focused, efficient kitchen that turns out consistently great food — and you’ll have a voice in shaping the menu. We’re looking for someone with strong culinary skills, great instincts, and a team-first mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead kitchen operations alongside the Executive Chef
  • Ensure every dish meets our standards for flavor, freshness, and presentation
  • Manage prep, service, and daily execution with a hands-on approach
  • Train and support staff to maintain a high-performing, professional team
  • Assist with inventory, ordering, and controlling food and labor costs
  • Keep a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen environment
  • Contribute ideas and collaborate on seasonal menu changes
