POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Ecommerce Account Manager, Amazon, is responsible for growing Munchkin’s Amazon business by managing and developing the relationship with Amazon for the UK and European markets. The Sr. Account Manager will leverage her/his deep understanding of Vendor Central and Amazon’s Advertising Tools to grow the Amazon business. You will also be responsible for providing excellent account forecasting and data to inform and assist the internal supply chain processes and to make sure we meet all our customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and evolve the EU marketplace strategy with Digital Center of Excellence and alignment to regional omni-channel priorities
  • Manage all operations of Amazon accounts through the Vendor Central Portal to monitor and analyze performance, rankings, ratings, and customer reviews and make recommendations to enhance rankings, performance and sales
  • Development of appropriate go to market strategies to drive the sales objectives within Amazon across all the European marketplaces
  • Design, deliver and execute aligned customer joint business plans (1-3 years) that deliver against the financial, go to market / brand presence and efficiency targets
  • Own the forecast and KPIs across all products and locales
  • Develop programs designed to drive aggressive sales volume growth for eCommerce accounts
  • Support the Pureplay strategy of European accounts together with the local sales team, as well as guide them on strategies for omnichannel accounts
  • Build working relationships with Amazon contacts through weekly / bi-weekly meetings, face to face time is integral to success, ensure smooth day to day trading and position Munchkin to be at the forefront of opportunity for growth.
  • Manage investments within Amazon (including all discretionary spend and cost prices) ensuring maximum return and delivery of sale/profit targets
  • Manage annual trade terms negotiations, lead creative thinking behind trading variables and ensure legal compliance in line with strategy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Demand Planning & Analytics, Customer Service, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Accounting to ensure all processes related to ecommerce sales and operations run smoothly
  • Develop and communicate ecommerce business results to the company and customer on an agreed cadence, identifying insights and action steps to improve business performance
  • Assist in quarterly planning & review meetings with online retailers
  • Manage all pricing plans, requirements and timelines; using business acumen skills to effectively plan and evaluate financial impact of business decisions
  • Monitor and improve brand distribution, representation and discoverability on all ecommerce accounts
  • Work with Marketing and Sales to identify areas of growth and potential partners or useful technologies to consider in growing ecommerce sales
