Description:

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our client’s team based in Camden, South Carolina. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining financial records, including general ledger, bank reconciliations, and day-to-day transactions. You will also assist in preparing financial statements and ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner. This role requires an individual who can work independently and has strong skills in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage general ledger activities
  • Timely completion of bank reconciliations
  • Ensure all daily transactions are updated and not left until the last minute
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations
  • Assist in preparing financial statements
  • Use Microsoft Excel for various financial tasks and reporting
  • Utilize NetSuite for various accounting tasks and functions
  • Ensure all financial operations are carried out in compliance with legal and company standards
  • Provide support for ad-hoc projects related to financial analysis and reporting
  • Must have a solid understanding of Account Reconciliation
  • Proficiency in Balance Sheet Reconciliation is required
  • Ability to conduct Bank Reconciliations is essential
  • Strong knowledge of General Ledger management
  • Experience in making Journal Entries is necessary
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
  • Familiarity with NetSuite is desirable
  • Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven understanding of accounting principles and regulations
