We are currently looking for a Senior Control Centre Engineer who is accountable to lead, optimize and schedule planned outages, provide technical support to Control Centre Operations, support safe startup of new assets, and manage various improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Independently provide a wide range of technical expertise and support to the Control Centre for all pipeline and terminal operations such as pipeline hydraulics, pumps, nitrogen purging, overpressure protection, and transient hydraulic operability reviews
- Lead, plan and optimize system outages collaboratively with all internal partners ensuring throughput losses are minimized on a rolling 6-month cycle as guided by Enbridge values, risk, cost benefit analysis, and performance metrics
- Accountable to identify and mitigate process safety risks in outage planning in a collaborative effort with outage requestor(s)
- Ensure pipelines operate in a safe, operable, compliant, and efficient manner by management of pipeline operating limits to best achieve line protection performance on a line by line basis
- Maintain a foundational technical knowledge base internal to Control Centre Operations for operational issue stewardship on a wide variety of engineering subject areas including mechanical, electrical, controls, and process engineering
- Support the safe start up and integration of new assets
- Identify, recommend, and implement changes that achieve safety, compliance, and operating cost reductions
- Undergo various background screening that includes but is not limited to criminal check and company sponsored medical and drug testing.
