Description:
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Degree in mechanical/ automotive engineering or technician with proven experience in tear down and engine rating
- Min. 3 years of related experience in engine and parts endurance validation at OEM, supplier or engineering company
- Experience in engine quality, field warranty, durability and tear down rating and know how fuels and lubricants is a plus
- Passion for innovative technologies with an overview of the relevant market trends
- Willingness to travel and valid European driving license B
- Excellent analytical skills as well as a problem-solving mentality
- A very good command of English, intercultural & communication skills
- Proficient in presenting, reporting and handling Microsoft applications like PowerPoint and Excel

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for fuel related durability tests on dyno and in vehicle and tear down analysis of engines and injection systems
- Development of testing and evaluation procedures for engines and fuel injection system as well as their functional analysis
- Preparation and execution of projects for an holistic durability evaluation and validation using existing and new methods
- Analysis of engine and injection system wear and deposits during disassembly and tear down after end of durability tests
- Benchmarking and market screening for engines, injection systems and fuels as well as validation and analysis methods
- Project planning whilst ensuring optimal usage of budget, resources and timeframe and increase share of automation
- Documentation and presentation of project & development results
- Close cooperation with HMETC departments and R&D Center in Namyang (South Korea)
