QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • 8+ years of Human Resources experience, 5+ years HR Leadership experience required
  • Multiunit HR Leadership experience required
  • Project management experience, such as project planning and influencing cross-functional partners to drive completion and timely results
  • Experience and demonstrated value in working in a safety-conscious environment.
  • Previous case management experience (including corrective action processes, terminations, conflict mediation, etc.).
  • High level of initiative with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, deal with ambiguity, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience deploying workforce planning and development systems including talent management, succession planning and leadership development.
  • The ability to communicate effectively and influence decision makers at various levels of the Company.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervises the stores & DC HR support team, responsible for coaching, development, performance review and daily oversight.
  • Develops and maintains effective relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of HR and business strategy in support of operational growth and exceptional customer service.
  • Serves as a member of the HR leadership team to aid in developing strategic plans and objectives for the business.
  • Advises and counsels business partners in managing the development and performance of their staff. Accountable for workforce planning for Corporate, Stores, and the DC, and as a subset of this work is accountable for talent management, succession planning and deploying special projects designed to identify, attract and retain this top talent, including guiding the hiring and recruiting efforts of Corporate team members, Stores and DC.
  • Identifies, assesses, and partners with the Director, HR on key people-projects/ strategic projects that impact the organization as a result of new organizational direction and goals and/or new legislation that impacts compliance and the full team member base.
  • Identifies, assesses, and resolves matters involving employee relations, employee engagement and work performance.
  • Leverages available culture and engagement data to design and deploy improvement solutions to ensure a highly engaged workforce.
  • Coordinates with business partners to deliver cross-functional and on-the-job training.
  • Collaborates with Talent Management Center of Excellence on the development of effective training interventions.
  • Provides HR Support for the performance management process execution and measurement for Corporate team members, up to the Director level.
  • Leads and advises hiring team on sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, selection and retention efforts for both exempt and non-exempt level positions at the stores, the DC, and on the Corporate campus, up to the Sr. Manager level.
  • Drives change management discipline with business leaders in support of key initiatives through creating awareness, understanding, ownership, and accountability for change.
  • Recognize, design and partner with the business on organizational design changes to seize business opportunities.
  • Monitors compliance of legislative requirements and company policies and programs.
  • Participates in community events that support and further the mission of Fresh Thyme Market.
