Looking to make a significant impact? Join Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. as the Sr Manager of Organizational Change Management. We are seeking an expert to lead change management excellence across the clinical trials business.
This is a highly visible and influential individual contributor on the Innovations & Programs team. You’ll lead employee engagement and minimize resistance to change. This will be done by working closely with cross-functional teams focusing on new product introductions and business transformation initiatives to develop and implement change management strategies, communication plans, and training programs. You’ll also own the evolution a broad reaching community of practice of change advocates.
The right person is someone who enjoys close collaboration all levels of the organization, including senior leadership. They will own results, craft strategy, develop communication materials, and deploy change plans. Key success factors for this role include being self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity as well as excelling in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with sponsors and business owners to understand and communicate change goals
  • Manage all change activities on high-complexity and/or transformational initiatives, including developing and deploying change strategies, communications, and training
  • Lead a community of practice to enhance change management competency across the organization
  • Train, mentor, and support members of the community of practice and project managers
  • Evolve and deploy change management frameworks and tools
  • Define, track, and report on change management metrics at the project, program, and divisional level
  • Collaborate with the internal communication team on developing and disseminating business-level messaging and materials

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Change management certification (Prosci) a plus; PMP certification preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in creating and implementing organizational and business process change strategies in a regulated industry desired
  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in corporate or employee communications, with an emphasis on organizational change communication, preferred
