POSITION SUMMARY

Magellan Aerospace has an exciting career opportunity for a full-time Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Planner at our plant in Winnipeg, Manitoba. We will be considering candidates who fall into the category of Senior ME Planner.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering Technology; OR equivalent industry experience
• 7 to 10 years of related work experience in a manufacturing environment;
• Experience in sheet metal detail manufacturing, machining components, pneumatic and hydraulic hardware, heat treating and forming operations;
• Experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

• Introducing new components and technologies into production in support of cost effective, high quality products;
• Working with internal and external contacts on matters concerning product definition, tooling, inspection, scheduling, and corrective actions;
• Creating and maintaining product definition, tooling, process certification, and shop order routings;
• Providing shop floor liaison for resolution of technical matters.
