Position Description and Responsibilities:

One of the key growth objectives, both globally and in Canada, is for IQVIA to continue to grow and diversity our revenue in the Tech Solutions area. To realize this goal to its fullest, we need to employ a senior Practice Leader with specific experience in selling and delivering CRM and Multichannel Marketing solutions. The preferred candidate will have deep experience with the Salesforce.com platform, and experience working with healthcare and/or life sciences clients. This person will be tasked with leading our Canadian sales efforts with our Canadian life sciences customers, and will ultimately have responsibility for leading a team of customer-facing experts as we define new solutions; specifically designed for Canadian clients.

Understands our clients’ business strategies and adapts our solution set to offer maximum business value to our customers. Promotional ambassador of IQVIA’s capabilities and vision for orchestrating the customer experience. Able to create strong relationships with different departments and with peer business units in other geographies. Seen as a leader in developing and maintaining client relationships. Develops and maintains high-level of client satisfaction for clients in the Tech space. Ensures coordinated / collaborative efforts across multiple teams. Leads the team in building up a positive client experience.

  • Support the preparation and delivery of sales proposals to prospective customers and clients.
  • Drive contract negotiations and close sales agreement with new and existing clients.
  • Engage in and support cross-border sales efforts with global and regional colleagues.
  • Develops and maintains customer relationships, build new customer relationships and strengthen relationships
  • Works closely with internal stakeholders to leverage IQVIA’s OCE solutions, adapting where necessary to meet local Canadian business needs.

Skill/Ability Behavioral Requirements:

  • Min. 10 years of increasing responsibility in sales or business development role related to services or consulting in Tech.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in CRM and/or MCM platforms (salesforce.com platform experience strongly preferred)
  • Results based leadership style skill set with strong impact and influencing skills.
  • Tenacity and energy in leading change towards an effective work environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to direct and motivate team and others, maintaining a persuasive and credible presentation style at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and process focus.
  • Progressive, flexible and team oriented.
  • Ability to provide coaching and development for technical consultants in identifying leads
  • Ability to operate in both English and French an asset
