The Senior Sourcing Recruiter is responsible for proactively sourcing, building, and maintaining a stream of qualified active and passive candidates for a broad range of positions through various recruiting and sourcing techniques. Key duties include developing and driving the Candidate identifications strategies based on unique Department needs, generating interest and selling the Southwest value proposition, and screening Candidates to determine both position and culture fit. This individual serves as the subject matter expert around candidate sourcing methodologies and recruitment process effectiveness.


  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience required


  • 5+ years of recruiting experience required
  • 2-4 years of sourcing experience required
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems preferred
  • Experience working in the technology recruiting/sourcing space preferred


  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
  • Demonstrated mastery of Boolean and open web sourcing techniques
  • Strong knowledge of current trends, innovations and best practices within talent acquisition as well as with traditional sourcing techniques
  • Flexibility and resilience to adapt to multiple demands, shifting priorities and changing business conditions
  • Ability to influence without authority at all levels
  • Ability to partner with a wide variety of senior-level clients
  • Decisive and able to push back constructively when appropriate
  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks, communications, follow through, and candidate activities
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to articulate an understanding of the assigned group’s business model, operations and financial structure

  • Travel varies based upon hiring department needs and location (10-75%)
  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
