TechStyleOS is looking for a Staff Data Analyst to join our Marketing Science & Analytics team.

As a Staff Data Analyst, you will take on a senior role, driving data initiatives that empower internal teams to maximize marketing impact and continuously enhance customer journeys. You will lead analytical projects, mentor other team members, and work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to provide insights and strategy recommendations. With a blend of hands-on data analysis and thought leadership, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of data-driven marketing across multiple brands.
Tools and Technologies:
Expect to leverage SQL and data visualization tools like Tableau daily, with opportunities to lead larger projects involving data integration and automation using platforms like Databricks and Airflow. Flexibility in choosing the best tools for your role is encouraged, reflecting our commitment to ongoing education and exploration of new technologies.
This position will report to the Director of Marketing Science & Analytics and will work closely with marketing, media, and business intelligence teams.
What you will do:
- Advanced Media Attribution: Lead the design and continuous improvement of internal attribution models using SQL, Python, and advanced statistical techniques.
- Strategic Testing & Optimization: Create testing frameworks and tagging recommendations to support robust analysis. Design, deploy, and measure lift tests, providing strategic insights to enhance marketing KPIs.
- Data Strategy & Integration: Oversee the integration of complex data sources (HEAP, Google Analytics, Meta Reporting Suite, etc.) to create a unified data view for enhanced campaign analysis.
- Campaign Performance Leadership: Provide strategic analysis of marketing campaigns, focusing on delivering actionable insights that align with broader business objectives.
- Advanced Trend Analysis: Utilize advanced analytics to uncover macro and micro-level trends in large data sets of audience segments, creative themes, ad formats, placements, and bid strategies, recommending strategies for optimization across various marketing channels.
- Leadership in Data Management: Lead efforts to consolidate and manage data across marketing platforms, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility for the broader analytics team.
- Reporting & Dashboard Maintenance: Generate and maintain reports and dashboards for various media channels and tactics.
- Executive Reporting & Insights: Present complex analytical findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership, translating technical insights into business impact.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with Business Intelligence, Media, Engineering, and Product teams to drive improvements in data architecture and analytics frameworks, ensuring the scalability of data solutions.
- Mentorship: Mentor and guide other team members, fostering their growth while maintaining high-quality deliverables and innovation within the team.
What you can bring:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Professional Experience: 4-5 years of experience in Data Analytics, with a focus on digital marketing, e-commerce, or related fields. Experience in fashion/retail, or within a media/advertising agency, is highly preferred.
- Advanced Digital Marketing Analytics: Deep expertise in digital advertising and marketing analytics platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Google Ads, and SA360 Search, with a proven ability to derive insights from complex media ecosystems.
- Technical Expertise: Highly proficient in SQL, with significant experience working with large datasets. Strong skills in data visualization, particularly with Tableau or similar tools. Basic Python skills are advantageous.
- Leadership & Strategy: Demonstrated experience in leading complex analytical projects and driving strategic insights that influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
