Description:

As a Staff Nurse on the Oncology Ward, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that delivers a high standard of care to patients undergoing medical treatment. You will be responsible for the assessment of patients care needs and for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care. Oncology and palliative care provision are key elements as an Oncology Staff Nurse.
The successful applicant will be an experienced nurse, and you must be able to demonstrate that you are motivated and forward thinking for the continued success of the department. We are a flexible employer and would like to hear from staff who would like to work with oncology patients.
To provide high quality, effective, individualised care to all patients that is compassionate and caring.
To assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate them without supervision
To keep up to date with skills and knowledge
Provide high quality physical and psychological Care with Compassion
Participate in the delivery of a consistent, safe service in all aspects of the patient journey whilst demonstrating a culture of customer service.
Manage care of allocated patients.
Demonstrate professional awareness and accountability.
Maintain requirements to ensure success in the Revalidation process.
