Who are we looking for?

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college
  • At least 10 years of professional marketing or commercial work experience, implementing marketing strategy and tactics
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Water Industry
  • Ability to travel globally (< 25% of time)

What will you be doing?
Role Summary/Purpose
The Strategic Product Marketing Director for the Chemical and Monitoring Solutions (CMS) business will develop, implement and lead key strategic and product marketing initiatives for the CMS business globally. The chosen candidate will work with the both the Global Product Management teams and the CMS sales organization to turn key product initiatives into actionable external campaigns based on detailed market analyses of customer value propositions. This role will own the creation and conversion of strategic initiatives into actionable campaigns supported with required collateral, communication and measurement strategy. This individual will lead a global team (directly and virtually) of up to six individuals.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing

  • Maintain information of market size and potential
  • Manage syndicated studies for new areas / validation of existing intelligence
  • Plan and execute targeted market research; analyze results and draw inferences for to better position the business for profitable growth
  • Work with individual product lines leaders on market segmentation, new product/solution need identification and market quantification, go to market positioning and value proposition validation
  • Build relationships with industry bodies and governments; represent SUEZ on Industry bodies and at Industry forums. Develop position papers/policy themes
  • Work with business leaders to drive strategy for pipeline building by industry vertical/segment, region and application/product.

Product Marketing

  • Create the marketing strategy and tactics to meet business needs
  • Identify appropriate methods/channels to publish content, develop awareness and generate leads
  • Provide creative vision, direction, and leadership together with the Product Management and Commercial team to develop high-impact, integrated campaigns that contribute to business growth
  • Work closely with the communications team
  • Build your knowledge around the firm’s CRM systems and leverage analytics/analysis to demonstrate ROI and suggest improvements to the CRM
  • Collaborate with other members of the CMS teams across the world to ensure key marketing support
  • Assist in the preparation of necessary collateral including brochures and customer presentations for key product/industry initiatives
  • Tracking, analysis & communication of project developments across sectors/ industries of interest
  • Understand, express and continue to develop the value proposition for CMS products for each product line
  • Maintain information of market size and potential, and manage syndicated studies for new areas / validation of existing intelligence
  • Measure and track market share across product lines and industry segments in the CMS business
  • Assist Business Leadership in planning & delivering internal & external communication
  • Build internal database of references & maintain Customer letters / testimonials
