Description:

CREATING GREAT FUTURES.

At Croydon College Group, our staff are passionate and committed to achieving the very best outcomes for our students. We believe it is through our people that an excellent student experience will be delivered, and this will have a positive impact in our local community. Our visions and values ensure that we put our students first and value our staff as our greatest asset.
We are seeking an Attendance and Progress Officer in our School of Greenskills, Innovation and Trades, which will contribute to providing effective and timely support to all students within the area to maximise attendance, progress and social and career development through to completion of the programme.
The main duties of the role will include liaising and developing good communication channels between parents, guardians, social workers, and ALS. The successful candidate will assist with attendance reporting and the production of action plans and intervention plans; monitor the quality and appropriateness of students’ targets and support students and staff in regularly reviewing targets set; and admin support for meetings within the school.
We are looking for someone with a good understanding of the various barriers to students learning and progress, with recent working knowledge and experience of successfully supporting students from Entry 3 to Level 3 and knowledge of a wide variety of strategies to support students with special educational needs. A good understanding of Safeguarding, EHCP and looking after children requirements is also important.
Apart from our great location, our wonderful staff and positive culture, we also offer a range of other staff benefits, including generous annual leave and defined benefit pension schemes. We also value staff development and have 7 days a year planned for staff development, including elements of team development, socialisation and staff wellbeing.
If you are as passionate about making a difference, we look forward to receiving your application and joining our great college group.
