KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Welcome and provide information to school guests, partner agents, walk-ins and trial students.
  • Process new local bookings following Bayswater`s admission procedure. Assist with pre-arrival/post-arrival bookings.
  • Support with first day arrivals, document collection, graduation ceremony, and other school events
  • Handle direct and local inquiries as requested.
  • Provide high-quality reception services and client support.
  • Ensure and maintain student satisfaction
  • Provide close monitoring to students including minors and immediately report to Student Services Manager if any issues occur.
  • Process and assist with post-arrival booking amendments
  • Provide reception and front desk coverage support
  • Plan and create diverse activities program that is engaging and interesting to international students. Guided Activities take place in the afternoon, 3 days a week, Monday to Friday, and include occasional evening/weekend activities.
  • Take photos and videos of activities, school events and other special occasions
  • Maintain receipts and accurate budget accounting for activity expenses in coordination with the Student Services Department.
  • Support remote sales team with inquiries.
  • Support the school with social media and other marketing duties as required.
  • Special projects/duties as assigned by line manager and/or Centre Director

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Training in the CLASS system is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with database management systems.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities:

The Student Services Officer will require good communication and inter-personal skills; projecting a courteous and professional manner at all times when representing the college. The ideal candidate will be a creative and outgoing ‘people-person’ who enjoys being around our wonderful international students.
