Description Position Summary: Responsible for the Supplier Quality administrative duties including data collection, charting and analysis, report writing, updating and submitting supplier quality documents, filing program documents. Duties: 1. Issue SQN and coordinate supplier visits for disposition of supplier fault non-confirming material. 2. Provide SQN's and samples of supplier defects to suppliers who choose not to have on-site review. 3. Coordinate and conduct review of supplier-fault customer returns with supplier. 4. Follow up on payment and closure of all supplier claims. 5. Work with Supply Chain and Accounting to ensure SQNs are submitted for all PTRs related to supplier quality issues (i.e. expedite charges, etc.) 6. Coordinate testing with internal lab as needed. 7. Maintain, update QAS database and SQN log. 8. Support all aspects of production with supplier issues. 9. Collaborates with Purchasing, Engineering and Manufacturing to resolve deviations from established specifications and quality standards. 10. Facilitates approval of boundary samples for items not currently documented. 11. Create and maintain supplier PDR (Product Design Record) as assigned. 12. Collaborate with Product Engineering on Supplier PDR Creation. 13. Update monthly KPIs on Supplier Quality Scorecard. 14. Update and maintain supplier scorecards with all SQ teams globally. Requirements 1. High school diploma or equivalent, required. 2. Higher education beyond high school, preferred. 3. Three years working in a manufacturing environment, required. Automotive manfacturing experience a plus. 4. Minimum of one year of experience in a quality role. 5. Basic AIAG or related quality system knowledge. 6. Must have good communication skills, both oral and written. 7. Computer skills including Microsoft Office applications. 8. Strong detail orientation skills.
