Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Systems Administrator to oversee and advance the technology backbone of our advertising and creative production studios. This position blends core IT infrastructure expertise with a strong understanding of the specialized workflows within a creative production environment. You will be the key resource ensuring that our teams remain connected, secure, and productive—delivering seamless integration across on-premises systems, cloud services, and AI-driven creative tools. This role is client-facing with both internal and potentially external clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Network & Infrastructure Management: Administer and monitor multi-site networks, including firewalls, Dell/Meraki/Arista/UniFi switches, and wireless access points.
  • Support & Operations: Handle daily IT operations and ticket management through Freshdesk.
  • Storage & Servers: Maintain and optimize enterprise storage and server systems (Isilon SmartPools, Synology), ensuring consistent performance and uptime.
  • User Lifecycle: Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, and support the operation of studio-critical applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Adobe Creative Cloud, Capture One, etc.).
  • Access & Permissions: Administer shared storage access (SMB/NFS/AFP), enforce permissions, and resolve workflow issues across MacOS, Windows, and Linux platforms.SaaS & Cloud Platforms: Manage core SaaS applications including Google Workspace, Slack, Freshservice, Addigy MDM, and Adobe licensing.

Support & Collaboration

  • Provide responsive support to studio, production, and creative teams.
  • Partner with artists, retouchers, producers, and finance teams to align IT systems with creative workflows.
  • Document procedures, train staff on new tools, and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Serve as a bridge between creative production and IT, ensuring technology enhances—rather than disrupts—the creative process.

REQUIREMENTS

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in IT systems and network administration.
  • Expertise in administering and maintaining networking and storage systems (Isilon, Synology, NAS/SAN).
  • Experience in managing macOS and Windows environments, including MDM tools (Addigy, Intune).
  • Excellent customer service orientation

Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS S3 or Google Cloud
  • Familiarity with emerging Creative AI tools and technologies
  • Experience supporting creative production teams including practical knowledge of professional production equipment and software
