The Systems Architect Senior Manager is to join the Commercial and Corporate Investment Banking Architecture Team.
As part of the Chief Technology Office (CTO), the Commercial and Corporate Investment Banking Architecture Team is responsible for providing architecture for Commercial Banking and Corporate Investment Banking applications and initiatives. The team provides architecture and technology strategy for commercial lending, payment, treasury, customer management and capital market technology applications. This position will primarily focus on commercial lending group and Architecture Manager will partner closely with Technology executives and various Lines of Business and Technology teams. Through these partnerships, you will develop strategy and solutions architecture for commercial lending identifying architecture modernization and simplification opportunities. You will also be responsible for solutions architecture and setting key strategic architecture direction and multi-year roadmap for the Commercial Lending Portfolio. This includes accountability for analyzing business strategy and current state architecture; developing reference architecture and a roadmap for transitioning from current state architecture to target state architecture; and ensuring Architecture Strategy aligns with the line of business strategy and Wells Fargo Technology strategy.

In this role, you will:

• Lead a team of 12+ senior architects that develops and maintains business system and corporate architectures for commercial banking and commercial lending platforms.
• Lead in component architecture and participate in enterprise architecture activity
• Provide strategic architecture direction focusing on product and journey based architecture for commercial lending and banking group.
• Collaborate and consult with executive/senior leadership and LOB partners to understand business needs and goals, and to influence and evolve innovative, effective architecture solutions to meet those needs
• Identify compliance and risk management requirements for supported areas
• Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Architecture & Engineering
• Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
