WE ARE RECRUITING FOR A TAPAS CHEF TO JOIN OUR CHEF BRIGADE AT BENTS TO SUPPORT OVER OUR CHRISTMAS PERIOD!

• You will run the Tapas section within Bents, where we offer our customers freshly made tapas dellights to enjoy in our served Tapas Bar in our Foodhall.
• Our Tapas Role role offers you an enhanced hourly rate of pay up to £13.00 per hour based on experience.
• Fixed Term full time contract from October to December, offering an average of 40 hours per week.

WHAT’S THE TAPAS CHEF ROLE?

As our Tapas Chef, you will operate in a large-scale fresh food setting, utilising local suppliers and freshly prepared produce. You will be responsible for producing high-quality, freshly made tapas delights in our Tapas Bar. Being customer facing, you’ll be able to interact with customers and have a positive engaging personality.
The Tapas Chef position is perfect for a hardworking, disciplined individual who is a team player with abundant stamina and a friendly demeanor. You’ll have at least 1 year of experience as a Chef De Partie in a comparable high-volume restaurant or similar environment. Having previous spanish style cooking or tapas experience is desirable.
You’ll have the ability to learn quick with a passion for food are vital, as cooking in a high-pressure kitchen is challenging but immensely gratifying.

OTHER DETAILS OF THE TAPAS CHEF ROLE:

The role offers full time hours of 40 average weekly hours and you will work 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and evenings until 9pm.

• No split shifts.
• Opportunities starting 7th October to 31st December.
