Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Environmental Investment Origination experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educatio

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Support the facilitation of tax credit sales from renewable energy and other clean technology projects and manufacturing facilities, including managing the interactions with sellers and/or buyers
  • Manage the financial, commercial, and technical analysis of highly structured, tax-oriented equity investments in renewable energy and tax credit transfers
  • Manage the process for internal approval of transactions, including credit analysis, underwriting, legal, accounting, regulatory, and tax matters
  • Write credit memoranda, manage engineering advisors, relationship management, and supporting portfolio asset management needs
  • Complete work in accordance with all risk management, business process expectations, and participates in the determination of these expectations
  • Evaluate and prepare recommendations regarding developing trends in the renewable energy market and emerging technologies
  • Serve as a mentor and advisor to less experienced individuals
  • Lead the financial, commercial, and technical due diligence processes as assigned
  • Oversee the team in identifying, analyzing, structuring, modeling and negotiating highly complex renewable energy project tax equity financings
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
