DO YOU HAVE EXPERTISE IN LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT AND ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT PROVIDING OPPORTUNITY FOR EDUCATING THE NEXT GENERATION OF PROFESSIONALS?
We are seeking two teachers of Leadership and Management who will deliver on our new level 4 Higher Technical Qualification programme, starting in September 2024/25. This post provides an excellent opportunity for either a qualified teacher, a graduate or a vocationally experienced professional interesting in pursuing a career in teaching.
This role will allow you to deliver exciting and interactive teaching, learning and assessment predominantly through online delivery, creating high quality learning opportunities for participants across our region. You will become part of a great faculty of staff who are committed to supporting every student to achieve their potential. The role will include working with our new intake of students, as well as opportunities to develop the curriculum and lead on this new Higher Technical Qualification programme.
Provision within the subject area supports learners progressing to higher education from our own further education cohorts, applicants who are external to the college who wish to upskill or retrain, employers wishing to provide professional development opportunities for their own staff, and some of our own members of staff who aspire to further their own careers.
The ideal candidate will already have a recognised teaching qualification at L5 or above, or someone who will be willing to work towards this qualification. The college can support unqualified applicants to pursue teacher training and details be made available upon request. You will have relevant experience of working within a leadership or management role, a strong awareness of current developments in the field, and will be able to combine this with an ability to inspire others.
