• Has experience with the KS3/4 Science curriculum
• Is empathetic, resilient, and skilled at building positive relationships with students who face challenges.
• Has a creative approach to teaching and the ability to inspire a love of learning in all students.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

As a Science Teacher at Blackwater Academy, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, tailored to the needs of KS3 and KS4 students.
• Adapt teaching methods to support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
• Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes resilience, curiosity, and achievement.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individual education plans.
• Track and evaluate student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents/carers.
