Description:

Location: Nationwide
MLL Telecom requires a highly motivated Team Lead Microwave (MW) Field Engineer. The primary role would be working on new and existing projects, working across a range of Network Operators. You will need to have Microwave experience and currently based in the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Undertake installation, maintenance, and fault repair in accordance with work instructions to ensure service standards are achieved in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Provide advice and decisions on engineering solutions and timescales.
  • Undertake installation and maintenance work in accordance with work instructions and procedures in a safe and efficient manner to meet service standards.
  • Clearly communicate results back to the wider business as required and ensure remedial work is properly recorded.
  • Manage fault diagnosis and repairs under your own control, working with Mobile Network Operators of network operations and achieve service standards.

Your areas of knowledge and expertise:

  • UK field & rigging experience
  • Working at height, tower rescue certified
  • UK Driving license
  • I&C experience
  • I&M experience
  • Nokia & E/// base station desirable
  • Pylon, Rope Access, IPAF, PASMA, Capstan winch experience preferred
  • Analytical and open minded.
  • A highly motivated problem solver.
  • Member of 24/7 on call rota.
