  • A minimum of Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People’s Workforce Social Care Pathway/Residential Care or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a supervisory/ management role.
  • Experience in managing and prioritising work
  • A commitment to going that extra mile.
  • Experience of working with children with challenging behavioural/emotional and complex needs.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding.
  • A driving licence is desirable as we work as a cluster of services across Aylesbury and High Wycombe and travel may be required for attending training and meetings.

Responsibilities

A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Vines is situated in High Wycombe, just minutes off the M40, 20 minutes off the M25 and well served by the local public transport network. In this warm and welcoming house, we provide residential short breaks that support children and young people with learning disabilities aged 11 to 19 who have complex behavioural needs.
We are looking for a Team Leader who will manage and lead a team of residential professionals and other staff as directed in the delivery of a 24-hour rota (including management of shifts) and join us.
You will bring your experience, can-do attitude, and passion with you and help to and maintain the high standards already set by our wonderful team!
You will be passionate, committed, and resilient and yes, this role can at sometimes be emotionally and physically challenging but it’s also fun, diverse and you will feel huge sense of reward by being able to help, in the best way possible.
