QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Skills are typically acquired through an undergraduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Material Science, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent degree, and minimum of 13 years of experience in Product Service Line (PSL) field operations, Business Development, or Engineering which includes management experience.
  • Incumbents at this level will usually hold a certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer.
  • Must be exceptionally astute about oil and gas technology, should be current on the complete portforlio of Halliburton technologies.
  • Should be a good personal relationship builder, communicator and motivator with an open mind and optimistic outlook.
  • Reasonable knowledge of common and local industry contracting standards, financial planning and analysis skills.
Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This role is exclusively part of the Business Development Technical Teams within the North America Regions.
  • Under broad direction, provides technology leadership in support of engineering and sales activities.
  • The profitability of Halliburton and the assigned client base is maximized through technology, field studies, cross-PSL applications, integrated solutions, reservoir simulations, and superior sales abilities.
  • Decisions and recommendations are recognized as authoritative and have a far reaching impact on engineering, sales, and related company activities.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining profitable relationships with both existing clients and potential customers.
  • Understands and promotes HES’s quality directives. Possesses broad understanding of business aspects and associated technology of the product service lines.
  • Manages performance and salaries of staff by hiring, conducting performance appraisals, coaching and mentoring for career and skills development, and arranging training.
