We Are Hiring:

• Sign-on bonus: $1,500
• Department: Pharmacy Services
• Schedule: Day, 36hrs/wk, Rotating, 36hrs/wk, Rotating schedule with 40 hours one week, and 32 the next. Occasionally there is the opportunity to pick up an additional shift. Every other weekend and rotating holidays. Shifts are primarily 7am-3:30pm and 3pm-10:30pm with a few shifts available at 9am-5:30pm and 1pm-9:30pm.

• Location: Milwaukee, WI

What You Will Do:

Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification.

• Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
• Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the Pharmacy department.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds.
• Repackage bulk medications.
• Receive and store incoming supplies.
• Triage incoming calls and serves as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information.

What You Will Need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Registration with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board required. Must provide proof of application to register with the Wisconsin Pharmacy Examining Board and once registration is granted, must be maintained.
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the National Healthcareer Association preferred.
• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate’s degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences:

HOSPITAL AND IV COMPOUNDING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
