REQUIREMENTS:

  • A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, IT, Communications, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of battery systems, solar energy, renewable technologies, liquid cooling systems, or EV is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with wireless network infrastructure, including Macro and IBC/DAS systems, is a plus, (not mandatory).
  • Strong interest in learning and developing technical skills in renewable energy, telecommunications, cooling technologies, and EV.
  • Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card) is essential.
  • First Aid, Perform CPR and LVR certifications are highly regarded (not mandatory)
  • Full driver’s license (Green P accepted) and willingness to travel to project sites.
  • Excellent safety awareness and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English is essential to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to work on a remote job site, including weekends or evenings if required.
  • Must hold a valid visa with full working rights in Australia (e.g., Permanent Residency, Working Visa, or other applicable visas).
Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking two motivated and safety-conscious Junior Technicians to join our team on a casual or part-time basis, working on cutting-edge Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), wireless network projects (including Macro and IBC/DAS), liquid cooling systems. This role is based in NSW, and is open to candidates who are willing to travel to project sites as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for technicians/Engineers with a background in batteries, solar, IT, communications, electronics, or mechanical to gain hands-on experience in renewable energy, telecommunications, advanced cooling technologies, and EV maintenance. For the right candidates, there may be opportunities to further develop your skills and career.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance, of battery energy storage systems, wireless network infrastructure (including Macro and IBC/DAS), liquid cooling systems, and EV Battery Maintenance.
  • Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to BESS, solar systems, wireless network equipment, liquid cooling systems, and EV Battery Repairment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Perform maintenance tasks on liquid cooling systems, including checking fluid levels, inspecting pumps, and ensuring proper system operation.
  • Work collaboratively with senior technicians and engineers to deliver project objectives.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed.
  • Operate and maintain tools and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Participate in the deployment and setup of IBC works, cooling, and EV maintenance as required.
  • Travel to various project sites nationally as needed.
