Description:

Your new opportunity: As the Technology Officer, you will be responsible for providing level 1 and level 2 support to Treasury’s ICT clients, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and fulfilling service requests. Your key responsibilities include frontline support, troubleshooting technical issues, updating documentation, and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders. Success in this role requires knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office 365, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent customer service.In this role, you will: - Provide level 1 and level 2 support to Treasury’s clients, both on-site and remotely.- Process incoming help desk requests, ensuring timely resolution and professional management.- Troubleshoot technical and hardware issues, coordinating with third-level teams when necessary.- Update documentation, including knowledge base and asset register.- Progress IT requests such as hardware imaging and software installations.- Provide support and advice on supported hardware and software.- Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.- Stay updated on Treasury’s operations, business goals, and ICT industry standards.What experience you will bring: - In-depth knowledge of Windows operating systems.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.- Familiarity with desktop devices, including PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Excellent customer service and phone etiquette.- Understanding of ITIL processes.- Experience managing Active Directory objects.- Familiarity with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, however, relevant qualifications will be are highly regarded.How to apply: To submit your application, click on the Apply link to provide: - Your resume detailing relevant experience- A cover letter of no more than two pages outlining why you are interested in this position and how your knowledge, skills and experience in relation to the Key Responsibilities makes you a strong candidate for the role.We welcome applicants to share with the hiring manager any health condition, disability, and/or cultural or linguistic background, so that we may make any necessary adjustments to enable you to equitably participate in the recruitmentprocess.Applications to remain current for 12 months.Job Ad Reference: QLD/583846/24Closing Date: Monday, 26 August 2024This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License
