Description

ABOUT HEATH

Heath Ceramics is a California company making dinnerware and architectural tiles of good and enduring design for over 75 years. We are design-led, with the mission of creating products of beauty and integrity, while designing, manufacturing, and running our business in a way that’s better for society and our planet. Our products are designed, manufactured, and sold in our two California factories and four showrooms, ensuring accountability in our process, from beginning to end. As a Certified B Corp, we maintain high standards of social responsibility, environmental performance, and transparency. We believe in the benefits of local manufacturing and support a community of people committed to and inspired by the process of designing, making, and sharing.

POSITION SUMMARY

We’re seeking a Temporary Events & Special Projects Lead to support in the planning and execution of in-store and community events ranging from curated art shows to multi-vendor markets (think West Coast Craft, but more intimate in scale). This role is both strategic and tactical: you’ll contribute to event concepting and design, manage vendor relationships, and oversee on-the-ground execution in collaboration with our facility staff and creative team.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, and resourceful, comfortable toggling between spreadsheets, communicating with external partners, and managing day-of on-the-ground logistics.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of experience in event coordination, event planning, customer service, or related roles. Prior project management experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience communicating across varying seniority levels in-house and with external partners
  • Experience in events, communications, marketing or media a must. Strong attention to detail and follow ups
  • Interest in the arts, craft, design, and community building is a plus
  • Proficiency with Google Suite a must, knowledge of Asana preferred
